each division will qualify for playoffs.

From the League Rules:
A. Designated teams (8 teams per division) will enter a
single elimination playoff to determine the Playoff champion.

B. In the event of
a tie for any position the following tie breakers will be used:
1. For two teams only -- head to head competition will
determine the winner
2. For two or
more teams -- 1.) tie breaker will be head to head competition;
2.) best winning percentage based on common record between the
playoff teams; 3.) Average run differential for entire season;
4.) A coin toss.

Comments
on the new Schedule:
No more switching between quads every
week:
- Upper Division teams will play all of their games on the upper
diamonds (A-B-C-D)
- Lower Division teams will play all of their games on the lower
diamonds (E-F-G-H)
- Thursday nights will play all of their games on the lower diamonds
(E-F-G-H)
Rain-out weeks:
- There are 2 weeks of rain-outs scheduled throughout the season:
After week 6 (June 14th-18th) & After week 12 (Aug 2nd-6th)
- MONDAY NIGHTS: will not play on Memorial Day (May 31st). You
will play on Monday of the first rain-out week (June 14th)
- FRIDAY NIGHTS: will not play on Friday July 2nd (due to the
Ringneck fastpitch tourney). You will play on Friday of the
SECOND rain-out week (Aug 6th).
- In the case of a rain-out, every effort will be made to reschedule
your games on your normal night, but be prepared to play on one of
the other available nights during the rain-out week depending on
field availability.
Playoffs:
- Every division will have 8 teams make the playoffs which will be a
seeded single-elimination tourney
- For teams making the playoffs, the first and second rounds of the
playoffs will be played on your normal night during the week of August
9th-13th.
- Championship night will be on: TUESDAY AUGUST 17th.
Every leagues Playoff Championship Game will happen on this night
with times TBD.
